I have a 2007 impala my trunk won't open and my seats Dnt fold how can I get to the trunk to change my tale light

On that model the only way to access the trunk when the latch has broken or has malfunctioned is by removing the entire rear seat assembly.
You need to pull the bottom section(the part you sit on) of the rear seat up and take it out of the car. Under the back section of the seat you will find a pair of bolts that hold the upright section of the seat to the car body. Remove the bolts and lift the seat back section up and remove it. Remove the protective layer and you can crawl into the trunk. You can then access the trunk latch from inside the trunk.

The vehicle should of course have been engineered with at least a narrow center fold down section of the seat from where you can access a manual trunk release . No doubt as a silly cost saving measure it was not designed this way.

Why my trunk want open

What is year--make--model? Does the trunk have a key lock? Will the key work?

If the trunk release is electric, need vehicle info to look up wiring. Some makes and models, the rear seat back will lower. Maybe you can access trunk, that way, or remove the rear seat-back then see if you can access the trunk?

Does 2003 buick lasabre have access panel for skis in middle of rear seat

In the trunk of the car there is a black panel behind the rear seat remove screws that hold this panel on. There are three magnets at the top of the panel. Remove panel and put screws in safe place. Go back to the inside of the vehicle there are three brackets that hold in top cover of back seat remove that lay it down in the back seat. You now have complete access from the rear seat to the trunk. To reassemble reattach rear seat top. Reassemble black panel in trunk just attach to metal with magnets and then put screws back in. Hope this is helpful and informative.

Access the trunk via the back seats, remove the rear seat base first then the back rests to gain access to the trunk

Key in trunk; opened car but switch to open trunk does not work and I cannot push back seat down to get in that way. What can I do?

Try taking out all of the back seat, and find an access
to your trunk. This is block by lawanit.board that can be
taken off to access the trunk.

On the Jetta 2000 TDI, does the back seat flip down, enabling access from the trunk? Like a hatch back, I mean/.

Yup - each seat has a latch and you can gain access to the trunk... the seats can fold flat if you take off the headrests

This has been good for me since sometimes my trunk key or automatic opener doesn't work and I need to access the trunk from the car

Remove back seat

In most cases, the factory installed rear speakers are accessible through the trunk, not behind the seat. Open your trunk and check if you can see them by looking up and forward in the trunk opening.
