Question about 2000 Lincoln Continental

I just took my car in because the check engine

I just took my car, a 2000 lincoln continental, in because the check engine line was on. They found that the hose to the air filter was off and that was causing the problem. They were going to reset the light and didn't. Is there some way I can do this?

Sometimes by disconnecting the battery will reset the light. After driving 100-500 miles the light will sometime reset after it cycle's which is the mileage it takes for the computer to recognize the problem no longer exist.

2000 Lincoln Continental check engine soon light is on. What is this a warning for?

It means there is a sensor bad or related to one of them, need to scan it, which some parts stores do for free and thay can tell you what it says and figure it out from there. if the check engine light flashes it means ther is a misfire condition that would be your first start to do.....

I have just had my 2000 Lincoln Continentals transmission serviced two days ago. It has 135,000 miles. Today I found Trans fluid all over my driveway. I took it back and the service tech can not see...

If it was overfilled this could happen. Check the level according to instructions in your owner's manual. If it is overfull, remove enough to get it back to the correct level. Overheating will cause the fluid to expand but unlikely it will leak unless it was overfilled. I would suspect too much fluid was added.

Where can i find description of all hoses on the engine of a 1995 lincoln continental?

That kind of detailed info is generally not available on line since much of it is copyrighted but I found a good selection of manuals on eBay:
1995 Continental service literature
If you are restoring or want to DIY, I wouldn't hesitate in spending the few dollars on having my own service stuff on hand.

2000 LINCOLN CONTINENTAL

I have the same car and don't get bent at this answer .... but if you bought it used and don't know the full extent of the car check the computer and change the steering to low or normal effort ... High effort is harder than my z28 used to be ... and going around entrance/exit ramps you really have to put some effort into it ...
