The antitheft module must be programmed by the dealer for the new key cylinder and key, there is no way around this.

Hi the antenae that goes around the key is for the immobiliser now as this has broken this means that now you have replaced the part your going to need to get the car reprogrammed to accept your key, you need to get this done so as the imobiliser will turn off allowing you to start the engine.

you know the one you broke are you sure it dont still work if you could put the old one back on and glue it in place then that should be strong enough to allow you to use the car, what the new one is doing is its not reading the correct code from your key so this then stops the car starting as an anit theft system, if the old part is broken and dont work then the only option would be to go to your nearest main dealers and ask them to reprogram the car for you, this will cost money but its the only option you really have.

How ever if the broken part is not internally damaged and its just the casing thats broke then if you put this part back on and try starting the car and if it does then start just glue it in place and that should be secure enough to enable you to use the car without going to the main dealers.

other than that your only option would be to give your main dealers a call and tell them whats happened and ask how much its going to cost to get the system reset and programmed to the new sensor, they may come out and do this at your home as you cant drive the car.

So what i would do is put the old part back on and just try and see if it works and if it does just glue it in place as this is the part that needs to match the code send by the ignition key the new part wont be programmed so this is why you need the main dealers to program your key into the anti theft system, without doing this the immobilizer just wont switch off and the car wont start.

let me know how you get on or if you need further assistance ok
