Leaks transmision oil when engien heats

Hi Manuel:
First thing is to make sure it's not overfilled. The check is to be done when the fluid is hot.
Next, it's always easier to find the source of a leak if you can see, so having it as clean as possible is really important. Use engine de-greaser or engine shampoo to get it nice and clean. Then run it for a short time, and then look for the source of the leak. If you can't see the leak, run it a short while more/ Eventually you'll fing where the fluid is leaking, and we'll see what can be done to fix it.
Hang in there!

To fill the fluid on the transmision

The transmission fluid fill is under the hood of the car, the same place the dipstick is. You'll need to take the dipstick out, and fill to the specs, but the fluid will then fill the pan where it needs to be.

Where is the automatic transmision filler or adding the fluid on 2006 ford explorer

Hi there.
You should take it back to either FORDS or any auto matic gear/box people and have it changed and refilled with new autotrans fluid

Transmision fluid leaking on ground what would be the problem?

Depends on where it's leaking from. Could be a bad hose going to the cooler, could be a bad fitting at the cooler, could be the front seal on the transmission. You need to clean the underside of the car real good and then park your car over some cardboard. that way when it drips, you can figure out about where it's leaking. Could also be leaking from the fluid pan due to loose screws or a failing gasket.

Manuel transmision is locked

check your fluid, if it is low pour some fluid in it, it could also be a bad torque converter, this happens when you stop and rev your engine before shifting from 1st to 2nd gear. you might have burnt your clutch or cracked a gear too. i hope this information helped. Be careful and drive safe!!

Transmision fluid leaking

Hi, it sounds like the leak is coming from the torque converter seal. when the engine is running the converter is spinning and keeping it from leaking. check the front of the trans and inside of the inspection cover.

I have a 2002 Passat wagon, with a1.8 l engine and a 5 speed automatic transmision. By mistake I drained the transmision. |How do do I refill the transmision so that I can take it to a shop to top it up...

Find the transmission filler tube under the hood. Get a funnel, and fill. Do not overfill, and use proper tranny fluid for your cars' specifications. Your user manual should have a capacities index, and the type of trans. fluid to use listed somewhere in the manual. Hope this helps.

Oil in the radiator looks like it might be transmision fluid Will the antifreeze get into the transmision

If it is trans fluid the cooler inside your radiator must have a leek. Yes it is possible for it to get itno the trans. Check to see if the fluid is milky.
