A/C blowing hot air 2000 CDX Daewoo

over filling it was a big mistake, so was guessing.
the freon is added by weight, from empty. not volume.
if the compressor spins, and no cold air , then its a big problem
the only tiny problem to cause this would be leaves packed in evaporator coil. (deep inside air box in cab)
take it to a shop before you damage the compression and fill the whole
thing full of metal chucks wrecking everything, at once $$$$
do not let the compressor run, if it dont get cold. do not.
get it serviced.

Why does my 2004 toyota sienna cool and then not cool

Make sure the Freon pressure is between 30 to 40 Psi, maybe vacuum the system and fill gas again.

How do I add Freon to 2000 Izuzu Trooper?

There is only two ports on the ac unit. when you get fluid at auto store, the end will only fit one and that will be the low pressure side so dont bother about putting it on the wrong on. Simply start car up an turn the ac unit on ( it must be on ) hook up fluid and fill until can is empty. some come with gauge which will show how much is needed and if not dont bother just let the can empty. In most cases it take the whole can anyways......hope this helps and good luck.

Ac on i am getting hot air only

Out of freon. The only thing that you can do is locate the fill ports that look like valve stems for filling tires, take the cap off and depress the needle valve with something. If you get some pressure spraying out then you can buy a refill kit and add freon to it. If you dont get anything coming out when you do that, the whole system is empty and it means that you need to take it in and spend a lot of money to have it professionally redone.

Puts 3 cans of R12 freon still not cold. This is 2000 sienna. How many cans does it need?

Three cans (36 ozs.) of refrigerant is probably more than an empty system would hold; however, I'm more concerned that you have put in the wrong refrigerant because most if not all vehicles since at least 1993 are using R-134 refrigerant.

My 2001 sienna air conditioner is blowing some cold air but could be colder. Can I just replace freon?

A lot of your local parts stores sale a hand held device that you pull the trigger on with it hooked to you ac line and it will tell you if it is low or ok or over charged. It comes with a can of R134 and I think it was around $40 but it is well worth it so you don't over fill andlock up your AC pump

Hi, I have 2000 Toyota Sienna, after using the AC for some minutes its cut off and never cool again till I switch it off and on it later. I just replace the condenser and re-fill the gas. What could be...

The catalytic converter has no bearing on your air conditioning system. If the compressor is shutting off, it is because of inadequate freon, or air and moisture in the system. When you replaced the condenser, the dryer should have been replaced with a new one. The system should have been completely evacuated of any old freon and fresh freon and oil put back in the system. If the a/c guy didn't change the dryer, then the system has been contaminated with whatever was accumulated inside the old one. If your catalytic converter is bad, the computer will trigger trouble code and the check engine light will come on. Have ethe computer scanned for trouble codes.

How to add refrigerants? To a 2000 buick lesabre. My car is blowing hot air it went from cool to hot. and now it just hot air coming out.

look for the fitting that is the smaller of the two and is attached to the line that is the larger of the two, this is the "low" fill side, add 2 cans of r134a freon each can is one pound the system empty holds 2 3/4 pounds of freon thats 2 3/4 cans.
I would buy 1 can of leak detector/freon combo and one can of dye/freon combo, if it takes more add a small amount of a third can that has an oil mixture in with the freon that would complete your systems needs the cheapest and fastest way possible.
If you want it done to the book then you need to have a certified A/C man vacumn pump down the system, replace the reciever drier, add freon and oil to fill the system and then check for leaks.
Happy Motoring!!
