When is the last time you had your service, You have not mentiioned the make model of the car. Please have your radiator checked for any blocks. open the radiator cap only when the car is cold ,top up and check for any leak check if the water level is dropping down. If you are noticing any noise from the engine check for the water pump/ bearing failure. You can get your radiator flushed and a good anti rust/coolant added on. check the timing of your engine, tune the engine if it had been a longer time.check the fan speed if electtric or the belt if driven by belt.; Hope this advice helps you out. Good day.

Hi there my mazda etude 160i wont start at normal operating temp must leave for few minutes then will start again

When you shut off a fully warmed up engine, the temp rises as all water circulation has stopped. This extra high temp can cause electronic parts to fail which then work again as they cool. Somewhat rare, but possible coil/module or crank/cam sensor issue. Also may have leaky injectors which bleed down when you stop and flood the engine. Sitting lets excess fuel evap and then will start again. Just my thoughts.

When stopped at a stop light my oil gauge goes down and my temperature gauge goes up on my 94 Chevy 1500 truck. I just changed the oil yesterday? What could it be?

Both issues could be normal to a degree. The engine temp would go up some when the truck stops moving, and the oil pressure would go down some when the engine returns to idle.
Are the two gauges reading out of normal range ?

Cefiro '97 2,5L over-heating. I bought this car yesterday and drove it home 200kms away. At about 150km the temp gauge showed high temp and I stopped for the night. This morning the radiator was

This may be an electrical issue in the dash and a phantom problem. I would suggest measuring the water temperature in the radiator to see if it matches the guage (normal temperature should be around 90decC. Higher revs would increase water flow via the water pump not lower it so I am thinking some kind of restriction - check your radiator fins are not blocked there could be blockages in the radiator or less likely in the block valleys, other things to check are that your hoses are in good condition and they don't flatten with heat. A faulty thermostat is also possible.

Heater blowing good heat temp gauge not moving and cooling fans not coming on. Unplug engine temp sensor and fans start put plug back on fans stop. gauge never moves

bad gauge or bad thermostat.

Fans come on because when you disconnect, it goes to default mode of fans on high speed.

Check out clarks-garage.com he has a complete troubleshooting guide for your cooling system along with a schematic. In short, check the low speed resistor on the firewall. Should be around one ohm.

Temp Gauge went to high

It could be 3 things: Temp sensor, thermostat, or fan relay. Fans don't usually turn on until car has been idleing for a while. I first would change thermostat, then relay, then temp sensor. Coolant must be 50/50 mixture for water pump to have proper lubricant from antifreezer. Do not go any further than a 60water/40antifreeze mix
