Got high beams on one side and no low beam

Not to sound stupid but try switching the bulbs to the opposite side. If they do the same thing as they did on the other side then try replacing both bulbs.

2004 Ram 3500. Passenger side headlght went out. I replaced the bulb and socket new. Have 12 volts to both positive terminals. Good ground. Have high beam, but no low beam.

Please try this steps:

  • First make sure the socket connector from the light is connected properly.
  • Secondly, make sure the wires from the socket is fixed and not loose.

If you have questions feel free to reply to this solution.

2002 Dodge Caravan headlamps: one works on dim the other works on high beam but not together. Also only one daytime running lamp.

Your van has dual diligent headlamp bulbs, that means each headlight has one bulb that serves as high beam and low beam. What has most likely happened is on one side the low beam filament has burnt out, and on the other side the high beam filiment has burnt out. The daytime running lights are just the high beam filament running on reduced power, so if the high beam doesn't work on one side, that same side will have no daytime running light. Replace both headlamp bulbs with matching, good quality bulbs.

2006 Dodge Ram 3500 diesel 4x4.I want to install four KC Rally 800 HID lights on my truck. I would like all 4 lights to go off when I switch to low beam. The lights will be on relays and rocker switches...

I cant tell you off the top of my head, but the easiest way is as follows.

Turn on your low beams, with a test light or volt meter, find the wire that powers the low beams (it will lose power when you switch to high beam).
Once you have found that wire, wire the lights and relays as if the hot low beam wire is your "switch", it will supply the switch power source the 12v it needs to turn on the power to the lights.

Hope this helps ya out.

Headlight low beams don't work

If the high-beams work the ground is OK. I'd check the headlights first; while doubtfull but possible both bulbs may have failed. My gut says that the relay has failed. This being the case it should be an easy fix to replace
Hope this may have helped.

2003 dodge ram 3500 4x4. low beam RF works no LF; high beam RF out, LF works. turn signals onlr RR works no LF,RR,RF. quickflash on dashboard

first thing to do, go with the replacement of the light bulbs, high beam and low beam are two different fillaments on the ligh bulb, as for the rear also replace the bulbs, when your flasher rellay flashes faster, it means that there is less drop of current in the circuit, like only one light bulb working.

Running day lights,

I had a similar problem with my 2001 dodge 3500, the first thing I would check is to make sure that you in fact have high beams working when the light switch is turned on. The DR Lights use the high beam element of the headlamp and if they are burnt out then the DR lights won't be working. My problem was that I had no low beam headlights and everything else was working, turns out both low beam elements were burned out at the same time, replaced the bulbs and all was well. If this does not solve the problem then see if you can get a wiring diagram for the vehicle and go from there. It would seem strange that both of my elements burned out at the same time but that is exactly what happened.

hope this helps
