Question about 1991 Honda Accord

A/c problems I have a 1998 gmc safari with front and rear ac.The problem is front ac is not blowing any air at all(probably blower motor) but rear air blows but no cold air? are ther two separate blower motors for front and rear?

Yes, it has two blower motors.

Got a1996 gmc safari when i turn on the heater the fuse blows... its a 20 amp


The resistor is not the likely candidate for a fuse problem. There is either a short in the electrical wiring to the blower motor, or the blower motor itself is faulty, causing the fuse to blow. Disconnect the blower motor from the circuit and try turning it on. If the fuse doesn't blow, it's probably the motor.

Rear a.c not working


Check to see if you have power at the switch,and then if you do check it at the blower motor. If power there probably the blower motor.

1999 gmc safari blower motor works perfect but no air comes out of the ac vents only defrost vent works


you have a sucked shut or broken vacuum line under the hood somewhere. mine was burnt and broke, same problem. it is a little, skinny, hard vacuum line from left side of motor over to right across the front.

I can turn my ac or heater to high and its barley blowing any air through the vents


sounds like a bad blower motor. fan blades may be detached from the shaft. shorted or bad ground in wiring/switch. check the motor by applying 12v directly to the motor

Blower fan on a/c quit blowing in front but still blows and blows cold air in back


first off make sure you have no blown fuse. but front blower motor may be bad. if it does not work in any speedyou can check for power at the wires going to the blower. under dash on passenger side

Explorer front air not blowing, rear blowing cold air


If the front is still blowing air but not air conditioned air than it is likely that a flap that controls airflow to the front has failed. The rear would still work as it is controlled by an auxiliary control.

If there is no air coming out of the front at all I would suspect a blower motor as the rear has it's own blower.

Either way a scan tool that is able to access the HVAC system is going to be the only to accurately diagnose this problem.

My 1998 GMC Safari ac works well (cold) in the rear. The front AC is just barely cool. Ac reads a good charge, not over or under charged. What could cause this?


The blend door is not fully closed for the front. GM's are bad for that. Also check the vaccuum line for the door.

Sounds like a problem with the front blower motor. there is a blower motor resistor for the front blower motor that controls the speed of the blower and tends to go bad or fry out the blower motor. thats the most likely scenerio since you stated the control head was lighting up and responded to button changes.
