first check fuse if fuse okay the turn signal lights dont work and flasher dont work problem could be faulty turn signal switch or faulty hazard flasher.which locate on fuse panel under instrument panel to the left of the steering column.
THAT IS THE ECM,IT SHOULD BE UNDERNEATH THE STEERING WHEEL TO YOUR LEFT,YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO SEE IT FROM OUT SIDE ALSO,SOME MODELS HAVE THEM UNDER THE DASH ON THE PASSENGER SIDE ALSO.
if you are sure the high beams are not defective you will need to replace the high beam switch on the steering column which is part of the turn signal and wiper switch.
its due to low/no fluid level in the power steering reservoir.Check the fluid in the power steering. If it is low the car will make noise when you turn the wheel. the internal parts gets rubbed hard and noise occurs. refill the fluid and let it reset for some time then try it will get the fluency to move smooth and noise will get stopped.--------This will help. You'll also need to change the steering box. The stock axle should be okay to use. Be careful hooking up the new box and make sure it is centered, the same number of turns to the stop when you turn it left or right. Also make sure the pitman arm is the same length, on the Ranger, so the front end isn't out of whack, and check the clearance at the radiator and fan. Hope this helps.
The power steering pump is normally connected or driven by the engine with a V-belt. A loose belt can cause squealing as soon as the power steering come under load (e.g. steering left or right while stopped).
Check the tension on the V-belt directly connected to the power steering pump. This may need replacement.
try lucas power steering stop-leak. drain some of the fuild and then pour that in. it is for surging rack & pinions, not just for leaks. if that doesn't work then you may have a defective rebuilt rack.
check power steering pump pressure, might be weak.
