How to remove and replace front left cv axle shaft on 2008 Jeep Patriot

It is too lengthy a process to explain here...have you looked elsewhere online for a video showing you what to do? Look up "Replacing 2008 Jeep Patriot axle shaft" and you'll get something. I'm assuming you have some of the tools you'll need to do this like ratchets, sockets, jack, supports to hold the vehicle while being worked on, etc.

How to replace sealed wheel bearing hub on 2006 Uplander LT

Remove the wheel, remove the brake caliper, remove the caliper bracket and rotor. Remove the nut from the axle. Remove the two bolts and nuts from the strut. Pull the spindle out and push the axle in. You might have to use a hammer and punch to get the axle to go in. Don't hit the axle with the hammer, you could mess up the threads. You only need the axle back far enough to get a socket on the bearing bolts. Then remove the three bolts that hold the bearing. unplug the sensor. You might have to beat the bearing out. If you have access to air tools/impact guns, get them. Makes the job much easier. If not, have breaker bars and cheater bars handy.

Where is the rear heater motor located on 2008 uplander

If the van has E59 on the RPO sticker you have to remove the left rear lower trim panel to access the motor. If it does not have E59 just remove the left rear compartment lid and compartment to access the motor. RPO E59 is a power left sliding door.

How hard is it to change the front wheel berings and what tools are needed? Then how is it done?

first im amazed it needs bearings. raise the front end and remove the wheel. undo the big nut in the center of the hub. undo the abs plug . on the back of the hub is 3 bolts remove these and using a press or rubber mallet push the cv axle in. it should pull the hub out as you do it. replace with a new hub assembly and your good to go. make sure to rehook the abs plug and clip it to the holes were the old was clipped. heres a couple pictures to help guide you. hope this helpsonetufshoppe_69.gifonetufshoppe_68.gif
