Question about 2005 Chrysler Town & Country
Code P0700, transmission control malfunction light is on. what does this mean and can we drive the car? This is a 2005 Chrysler.

I looked up the code and found p1700 was the following:
P1700 Malfunction Indicator Lamp requested by trans control module
This indicates to me that the code is p1700 not p0700, was this a typo?
At any rate, if you don't have any adverse performance, I would drive the vehicle. The module might be going bad, but it's not too serious, Keep an eye on any driveability problems.
