Here is what I looked up: Fuel Pump Removal & Installation To Remove:

  1. Remove the fuel tank.
  2. Disconnect the pressure transducer connector on the top rear comer of the fuel tank.
  3. Clean the area around the fuel pump mounting flange.
  4. Remove the bolts and remove the fuel pump.
CAUTION
The fuel pump must be handled carefully to avoid damage to the float arm and the filter.
Remove and discard the fuel pump mounting gasket.
To Install:
  1. Clean the fuel pump mounting flange and the fuel tank mounting surface.
  2. Install the fuel pump mounting gasket on the mounting flange.
  3. Position the fuel pump in the fuel tank. NOTE: Tighten fuel pump bolts in a star pattern.

I just had my fuel pump replaced and now my fuel gauge is way off. I can't tell when I'm on empty, I know it's somewhere between the half tank mark and full, but I don't know. I need to...

Whoever replaced your fuel pump, damaged the the fuel level sender when they did the pump repair. The fuel level sender is attached to the same assembly that the pump is mounted in. You will need to have the shop that did the repair, remove the the gas tank again and repair the sender or replace the entire sender/pump assembly.

Fuel pump needs to be replaces on 2000 Chevrolet suburban, do I also need a new filter, relay and induction?

Do you know for sure that the fuel pump failed or do you have a bad relay? If the fuel pump relay is good no you don't need to replace it. The fuel pump unit comes with the sending unit and a sock filter. I would replace the inline fuel filter when you replace the pump. In line fuel filters need to be replaced every 36000 miles. If that filter starts to plug up it makes the pump work harder which leads to premature failure.

Fuel pump?

Park in a quite location. Get in the back seat. Have someone else turn the ignition switch on without starting the vehicle. Listen for the fuel pump. It will come on and run for a few seconds. If you hear nothing the Fuel Pump is defective, or the fuel pump relay or fuse is bad. If you hear it, then you know it is running but that does not mean it is actually pumping fuel. To verify that you will need a fuel pressure test. Your car is 11 years old, have you replaced the fuel filter. If not replace it before proceeding.
