Most likely, with the engine cold add coolant back until full, (or 50%coolant 50%water) start engine and let it run with the cap off, watch inside of the radiator and make sure U can see the water flowing threw the radiator. It will burp water and coolant out the neck of the radiator. It is common to get a pocket of air in the thermostat housing, if this happens it will over heat after your driving. You need to add coolant,but have the cooling fans checked to make sure they are coming on,especially when the ac is on.If this was helpful,at all,please rate,thank you..
