My truck died going down the road, but started back after about a minute.. It did this three times in about five miles.. Kinda seems like a gas problem, what could it be?

Kinda hard to tell - what kind of truck it is? You want specific answers, give specifics. Need manufacturer, year, model, and engine size. Then we can speculate better. Yes, it could be fuel. But there are many other options as well. For example, how does it stall? Does it stumble and shudder and shut down or is more like someone just turned off the ignition switch? For the first option, fuel is more suspect, for the second, a sensor failure such as the crankshaft sensor is more likely. Some vehicles and engines are more prone to certain types of failures. The more you tell us, the more we can help you narrow the probabilities and possibly help reduce your repair costs.

1993 accura legend 3.2 v6 no fuel pump no fire will crank wont run. Automatic. Put a water pump timming belt and tens thermostat coolant fan senser new radiator. Have taken back down several times...

the pump is in the fuel tank and sometimes you can hit the bottom of the fuel tank while turning it over and the pump will take off and the engine will run you do need to hit it hard and fast for 30sec maybe more while turning it over it worked for me

I have a 1987 ford ranger when im goin down the road it seems to lose fuel i changed the pumps but im lost now can anyone help thanks

Check your fuel pressure regulator. Disconnect the vacuum hose from the back of it and check for fuel coming out, and listen to see if your engine RPM increases. If you have fuel coming out the back, it's ruptured and needs to be replaced. If your engine doesn't increase in RPM when you disconnect it, it's probably seized up and will need to be replaced. Those little FPR's are the cause of 90% of fuel related issues on these trucks, at least in my experience.

I have a 1994 gmc yukon and im having trans issues just changed the trans pan and seal thinking dirty fluid. Well it manual shift 1-2 than over drive than it seems its over idling and like im in...

you are right to think it is a sensor. trash can get into the shift solenoids and make a trans act funny. you could drop the pan and replace the solenoids located in the back of the valve body.

I have to hit the gas to start my 2006 chevy uplander but once it starts it is fine, could this be a fuel pup problem if i dont hit the gas it will just turn over or it will start and die

I am a gm dealership tech, and also own one of these. My vehicle has the exact same problem. Cleaning, or having the throttle body cleaned well seems to help alot. I just rest my foot on the gas pedal alittle when I start it most times just kinda became habit. Unfortunately we have not found a real permanent fix as of yet.
