I'm inclined to believe that your power steering pump is low on fluid or bad.

Squealing can come from any belt slipping or an accessory like the power steering pump being worn out.

Good luck, to you.

How do i fix my 98 tacoma's powersteering when its pluged?

In that case then the fluid is too thick of a viscosity to run through the lines. In some cases you can clean it out otherwise install a new one. must pull pump to clean out.

Tacoma 2001 isnt geting anny gas solution

sounds like yiour fuel pump is not running or you have a clooged fuel filter. If the pump is not running it could be the relay or a bad pump. The pump runs for about 1.5 second when you turn on the key.. go to back of truck and have someone just turn the key on to the accessory position. you should be able to hear the pump start and stop.. Kinda a bussing noise.

Why is it hard to turn the steering wheel?

Check the level of your power steering fluid and have your pump checked. You are probably just low o fluid.

I have 2001 toyota tacoma, belts were squealing then shaking from pully?

Dear Maria Mitchell,

Best thing to do here I would advise, would be to service these belts as a matter of urgency. Squealing of any kind is going to physically wear these parts out. Change the belts, and when you do so, check all of the pulleys and sprockets, check all of the bolts are in place and that none of the pulleys or sprockets are bent, distorted or deformed in any way. . In addition, I (being a thorough investigator, and considering all options), would certainly turn the crankshaft over manually and check the level of resistance on this, same for the cam. Oil levels too would be a first indictator of any sign of enginje damage that could cause other symptoms to manifest.

Realistically though, just replace those belts, renew and replace all bolts and as said, check those sprockets and pulleys. Swap out the belt tensioner for a new one, and while about it, seeing as you gone this far, may as well perform a simple fluid check and change, and consider new plugs and leads. This comes under what is called a GENERAL SERVICE. Or better yet, sit in a coffee shop, drinking loads of coffee..... whilist a mechanic deals with it.

In the meantime, I hope this is the fixya for you and look forward to hearing how you get on.

Yours sincerely

Ouszen

What would cause the fuel injectors to stop pulsing when the truck warms up its a 2001 toyota tacoma with a 2.7

I would think the fuel pressure regulator or a weak fuel pump.I would check the fuel pressure and if its not within its specs replace the pump and filter.

Loud squealing noise from the engine when you turn the wheel. It has plenty of power steering fluid. Any suggestions?

Adjust belt tension on powersteering pump, if belt is separate, if not, it may be time for a new serpentine belt. When was it/they last changed?
