You can try this tip to see if the window will work temporarily before a permanent repair is attempted.
This should narrow the problem down to a bad limit switch or possibly a failing windo motor.

My '02 Ford Taurus SES windows won't roll down

Power windows are wired through their own relay which is usually located in the fuse box. If you don't have faulty switches in your window system I would have the relay checked out.

If you cannot operate any of the power windows and you lost power on all at the one time it is most unlikely that the motors are faulty.

I have a 1988 ford f150 the windows won't roll down

if no sound is heard when the window button is depressed, check the fuse first, next, check the switch (window button) for electrical connection, most common in our shop however is the window lift motor - this is especially true if you can raise or lower the glass by hand without using the window button. if the motor makes a noise and doesn't lift the glass, the window lift motor may only need the gears replaced.

On a ford f 150 ---window switch work and window motor turns up and down but the window won't go down --cause?

Most likely the glass has become disconnected from the regulator OR the regulator has broken or become damaged. when you push the window switch 'up' or 'down' you should hear the motor, you may also hear a grinding or crunching noise and the motor slowing down or struggling under load. this is a sign your regulator is most likley damaged and needs to be replaced. If you "roll" the window all the way down and the glass does not move, try push the glass down, if you can freely move the glass up and down, it has become disconnected from the regulator. Either way you will have to take the door panel off and see for sure what the problem is.
