Have your gas tank filler neck tube or hose checked out.More then likely a bad seal.

How do i change rear wheel tire in isuzu trooper

Loosen lugs first. Chock opposite front wheel. Put emerengcy brake on. Jack up vehicle where the rear spring meets with the frame. Raise vehicle about 1 inch swap tires. Install lugs snug. Lower vehicle till tire just touches the ground then tighten lugs. Finish lowering the jack and remove chock place both in vehicle.
Start truck, release jack and continue on your way. Make sure spare has proper amount of air. If not go to gas station and fill tire. If low on air do not go over 30 mph. Hope this helps.

Does bad spark plugs burn gas faster

First question is yes bad or worn plugs can burn more gas to generate the same amount of power.
Second question, you could fill up the tank and record the mileage, then fill it up again when it measures half a tank and compare.
If the gas gauge is working correctly it should take half the total number of gallons the tank holds to fill it up again. And the miles you drove divided by the number of gallons used equals your gas mileage.

1966 impala can't get it to start ran out of gas and now it wont start it. Has a 283 motor. Cleaned out filter and has gas in glass filter. It was runing fine till it ran out of gas. .

In a situation like that I usually fill the float bowl from the top. I pour gas into the bowl vent which is in the throat of the carburetor near the top. You'll need a small container with a small opening because the vent is quite small. Once it's full (it may overflow) pump the accelerator an crank the engine. Hopefully it will start. Good luck.

When older vehicles are driven to the point of running out of fuel, the deposits in the tank are sucked into the line and clog the filter and the line. On a 13 year old vehicle, I'd say you probably had this happen. You may be able to clear the debris by removing the gas cap and putting a small amount of compressed air backwards through the system by removing the line that feeds your fuel rail. put the air into the line slowly and have someone listen near the tank. After a while the debris will be cleared of your lines and backflushed through the filter. Gas should flow freely after that. Change your fuel filter asap though after it's running again. Or yes, it could be the pump.

Try cheking the starter connections, the battery to motor ground, battery to body ground and motor to body ground strap for corrosion. They can be corroded under the bolts and cause all kinds of electrical problems.

Acts like i ran out of gas but just filled up.

Did you get gas while the fill truck was putting fuel in the ground?
You may have pick up water from the bottom of the delivery tank.
Change your gas filter and put a bottle of dry gas in your tank to dry up the water.

First of all, don't run the vehicle. If ran for any amount of time, there is allot of damage to be done to the vehicle. Spark plugs, O2 sensors, Cataystic converter. This is all first hand experiance. I would have the car towed to a garage and have them drop the fuel tank and remove all the fuel, and change the spark plugs and see what the 02 sensors look like. It will be very obvious that they are bad, if ran long enough. It will burn the tips off the sensors. The converter never fairs very well either. The engine isn't junk if you did run it but don't run it anymore! How many miles did you drive it? If you have any questions or concerns feel free to ask questions. Thank you for using
