This car came with both a 2.4L or 3.4L engine, they both used a timing chain.

At what mileage should you do timing chain 95 t-bird

there is no set mileage for this. it generally is replaced when it either brakes or is stretched so much the car won`t start. you can check it by checking chain play by bring cylinder 1 to top dead center(tdc) by aligning timing marks and moving the motor back and forth with the rad fan holding tension on the fan belts to roll motor. watching the amount of movement before the slack is taken up on the timing marks if its 6 degrees or less its good.

1993 Subaru loyale Engine won't start distributor

if rotor (this is the one that turns and not the distributor), then its either your starter is broken or you have a drained battery.

also, for worst cases, your timing belt/chain is broken

there could be several problems, make sure all electrical connections are ok, most likely reason is that the timing is incorrect due to the timing belt being incorrectly installed,

2006 pontiac vibe getting close to 100K and feel the need to change the timing chain. Someone advised that is this breaks it destroys the whole engine Trying to divert trouble later.

It is personal taste. Some places recommend that timing CHAINS be replaced every 90K-100K, but others drive until there is some change in their engine performance that would indicate the timing chain and then change it. Since you have the timing chain and not the timing belt it is up to you.

Generally, I will replace timing chains IF I have to pull my engine out of the car for any reason, but won't change it at set intervals.

When should I replace the timing belt on a 1999 gmc sonoma

Your vehicle has a timing chain, not a belt. There is no regular maintenance interval on the chain. If it starts to clatter at idle, it may be time to replace, otherwise, do not be concerned

Will a timing chain/belt cause your car to stall out when driving it and not allow it to start up after it stalls?

I had a timing chain problem, It made a noise for about 3 years and it decided to break last May, the engine just totally stopped. My 99 cavalier had 164,000 miles on it. My friend and I found out the the cavalier 2.2 eng. has a non interfer timing chain. so when my timing chain broke it didn't cause any damage.
