Some things can not be rushed for a matter of safety or perhaps if it is difficult to research a particular incident requiring many hours of reading and the uncovering of recalls pertaining to the vehicle, etc. patience is the best virtue, remember what they say...."Rome wasn't built in a day"...but i'm sure the Emperors wanted it to be.
Hope this works.
Good things are mostly worth waiting for.

By the way, what exactly are you waiting so long for??

    You do not specify.

  • JOHN DAVIDSON Jul 22, 2010

If life is considered to be so short...then a long wait can be a good thing??

  • JOHN DAVIDSON Jul 23, 2010

Please after this is all ironed out and rectified, please don't forget to give a nice review.

Thank you and I hope your wait time is minimized to at least 50% of what you were expecting it to be.

How difficult is it to replace the starter.

there are three engine sizes on that year...
there is a 2.4L,a 3.0L,and a 3.3L
a 2.4L engine takes 0.7 of an hour to take out the starter
a 3.0 takes 1.0 of an hour to take out the starter...
and the 3.3 takes 0.8 of an hour to take out the starter...
the difficulty depends on what engine size you have...
its not that hard to do it your self...if you have the right!
Good Luck!

Instalation of time belt mitsubishi lancer 2003

All Mitsubishi cars pretty much hide the water pump under the timing belt. You should buy all new belts for the car and consider replacing the water pump at the same time. You will have to take off the power steering belt, the alternator belt, the upper belt cover, support the motor, take off the motor mount, jack up the right front corner of the car, take off the front right tire, take off the engine plastic under cover, line up the TDC timing mark, Take off the front wheel ,take off the plastic splash cover, take off the lower pulleys, take off the lower engine cover, observe the timing marks/arrows and highlight with paint, take off the timing belt, counter balancer belt if there is one, water pump belt, and now you can unbolt the water pump, scrape the gasket, and replace it. Now the good news, if you have tools,a compressor, an air gun(for lower pulley bolt), patience , and four to eight hours to kill, you can actually save money and do it your self.

I accidentlt put the wrong spare key in the ignition, it started the car, but now i cant get it ouit. what do i do

will take some works take out the whole steering column and take it to car key repair shop or take the car to the key shop they can take it out another change the steering column comes with the key or take a pliers pull it hard but might damage the ignition. some junkyard area they have a small repair shop outside take it there you might save a lot of money.

How do u take off the crankshaft on a 1999 dodge stratus

You dont take it OFF you take it OUT. after you take the engine OUT and you take the oil pan and front timing cover off you take the crankshaft OUT. It doesnt get any more major work than that. You need to find a qualified shop to do that, If you think you need a crankshaft, you need a lot more than that.

I need step by step instructions on removing and installing a water pump for a 318 Dodge motor... need torque specs also.

1. Drain Coolant 2. Take fan clutch off 3. Take fan shroud off 4. Take the serp. belt 5. Take the brace on the A/C and Alt. bracket 6. Take the A/C compressor off the bracket (but do not recover freon) 7. Take the idler pulley off 8. Take the bracket off but leave the alt. attached to bracket 9. Pull the wiring off the temp.gauge on the intake by the tstat housing 10. Take the bypass hose clamps off by using a hose clamp pliers. 11. Take the lower radiator hose off 12. Take the bolts out of the waterpump and take the pump off with a little tap with a hammer or pry it off. 13. Clean off old gasket 14. Install in reverse

Heater core

My chilton manual said take apart the whole truck, take dash out, take breather assembly apart, take antenna off, take kicker panel off etc. All that is wrong, theres a black compartment door inside cab on passenger side, take 6 to 8 screws out, unhook hoses from under hood, it slides right out.

Taking off the manifold in my driveway.

On a 1995 sierra, taking of manifold, exhaust I assume. If it's on the passanger side you might be able to do it. It all depends if there will be any brackets in your way. If so, you should take it in. If you do decide to do it yourslef you'll have to take off 3 lead down pipe bolts, and 6 exhaust bolts if no brackets. Where as the drivers side, take it in. You'll have to remove power steering pump, ac, brackets, and like the power steering pump takes a special tool to remove pully to get to bolts.
