I have changed more low pressure switches than high pressure. You can jump the connection for the LOW pressure switch while the engine is running. Do this after the Compressor has cut off and if the Compressor starts again, it will be immediate. Then you have to determine if it is the switch or low Freon.

If you do not have gauges, see if Autozone or Oreillys have loaners. If no gauge try a new LOW pressure switch. Also ask the Parts guys if you have a Thermal switch for the Compressor. The old models would just blow like a fuse, but the newer ones may reset. If the Thermal is causing problems you need a can of Oil Charge especially if the Compressor was getting noisy. This caused extra heat and tripped the Thermal.

If the new Low pressure switch does not help, your Freon must be low or you have the Thermal problem I mentioned. Freon pressure is directly related to outside air temperature. As the Freon circulates it changes from gas to liquid. This change will explain why you start out with pressure and it works, then cuts off when it is starved. Be patient and go step by step and you will track down the problem with the least expense.

2000 Chevy silverado 1500 blower not blowing

there are two or three things to check first the fuse in the fuse box next there is a resistor that controls the fan speed that will go bad and last the blower motor itself if you can get to it you can run a twelve volt source to the hot or positive terminal and it should come on if it is still working .

Make sure tires are at the max pressure and the light should go off. If it doesn't, disconnect the negative battery cable for 10 minutes and put back on.

I have a 1999 chev silverado 5.3L. Engine will

What is the fuel presure? on a vortech engine the presure needs to maintain 60-66 pounds. It is possible that the fuel filter is restricting the flow of gas or could also be a weak pump... just a another thing to check... hope it helps.

Air conditioner doesn't work

problems yes low high and high low are usually caused by faulty defective clutch coil or defective thermostat...electrical issues can be cycling switch pressure switches ambient air sensor or fin switch ( evap temp sensor)
Mechanically it could be clutch,or compressor the symptoms are not good... srry hit me back if you got some manual gauges and wanna run pressure test diagnostics..
