    Ok,,

If you know where the starter is you can pull the little wire of the solenoid, theres possibly 2 on your model but the diagram I have is only showing 1.

Any way, just pull the little wire off the solenoid and then replace the blown fuse, try tooo start it again if it dosn't blow the fuse then the problem is in your starter motor and you will have to get it repaired.

If it doe's blow again then you have a short circut on the wire from the battery to the starter relay or from the starter relay to the solenoid.

These are the only 2 things that will cause your main starter fuse to blow.

Hope this helps, let me know if you need more information.

thank you sooo much, but i checked ur reply i think a little too late :) i ahte to tell u this but, the guy worked on it again, rechecked whatever wireing and said they were good, and then said that the housing unit was bad or somthin, and went and got another one, replaced it. got the car started hurray???? yea right, the timing was way off he said, so we got a timing gun i think thats what u call it.... and fixed the timing the best he could he said because he said that the noc sensor is out, and when its started it holds idle but drive and reverse wont engage.

02 civic 1.7 ecu fuse under hood pops every time i turn key to on? since i shut it of at the store

You have a short somewhere. A fuse is a protective device against too much current. A spike in current indicates a free flow of electricity through the fuse. No way should the ecu be drawing more than the fuse can handle. A short somewhere would draw a LOT more power than the fuse can handle and would blow the fuse.
NEVER replace a fuse with a higher amperage fuse. Use only the recommended size fuse. If it keeps blowing, you still have a problem. Fuses are cheap, burning your car to the ground will be expensive.

Why does my 1996 dodge 1500 keep blowing the 30 amp engine control fuse?

if its blowing the fuse may be water in the bulk head connector where the wires go threw the firewall or melted wires on that circuit have seen both cause this issue

White smoke from exhaust

H there:Generally this is caused if you have a head gasket leaking or cracked head.

Antifreeze is leaking into the combustion chamber and burning off.
Keep an eye on your coolant level, as it will decrease gradually.

Hope this helps; also keep in mind that your feedback is important and I`ll appreciate your time and consideration if you leave some testimonial comment about this answer.

1997 saturn when starting it runs for 20 or 30 mins then gets hot could that be the head gasket?

If the coolant level is full, the fans are coming on and the t-stat is working properly than yes it could be a head gasket. I would check the other three things first to make sure there is not a simple solution first. Let me know if you have any questions and I'll do my best to answer them. Thank you for using FixYa.com!

We just put new gaskets on our 94 jeep grand cherokee laredo was runing great now something keeps blowing the eng control fuse help!!!

first place I'd look is around the perimeter of the heads (I assume you mean head gaskets?) Make sure you haven't inadvertently gotten a wire pinched in between the head & block somewhere.

Overheating and stalling

Check the fuse and relay for the cooling fan before it overheats again so you don't blow the head gasket on the motor. After you replace the fuse/relay let it idle keeping an eye on the temperature gauge, make sure as it reaches a little over half way the cooling fan should come on. If it does'nt then your coolant temp sensor may be at fault. Good luck and be safe.

Sudden whit smoke

it is a blow head gasket. the coolant circulating around in the block is kept out of the cylinder by the head gasket. the coolant burns white and that is what you see out the exhaust pipe. i would recommend not driving the car with this problem because you can hurt other engine parts **** as spark plug and you risk over heating.

Something is drawing too much power and you will have to find out which it is. When the head job was done they may have gotten a wire pinched in the block or some thing. You would have to be quite mknowledgable in vehicle electronics to find it. I would suggest that you take it back to the shop or guy that done the head job for you to correct.
