I have a 2006 Ford F150 King Ranch. The factory remote start on the factory key was working but this winter would not. It flashes the lights but does not engage the starter just on the remote start. Someone thought there was a valet setting??? Any suggestions?

Very likely a connection. is the ac control switch on the driver door? Has a wire rubbed through its outer casing against something & grounding ? If it was a blown fuse I don’t believe it woul function at all
Have you tried WD-40 in the door latch ? Some times the contacts in the door latch get gummed up, and the door switch stops working. A good soaking on the door latch, and close / open a few times and another soaking of WD-40 usually does the trick with the door latch switch.
check the keypad for a short give these websites a try www.alldatadiy.com and www.autozone.com if all fails stop by your local Ford dealership in the parts department and they be able to print you off the pictures and diagrams you will need wish you the best of luck Michigan Man.
