My 2007 silverado stereo is making a noise even when the stereo and truck is off. There is a sound inside, sounds like a small electric motor running and also it sounds like it wants to eject the cd even thou there is no cd inside.

It sounds like it needs a better ground. Pull out the stereo and run a ground wire to the body and sand around the screw or bolt so it is touching the metal and run that to your stereo.
I hate to say it sounds like a rod, but.......... If its low in the motor, it may be broken flex plate or spun harmonic balancer. Top of motor, its probably rocker arm noise(valvetrain wear?) If its inside motor, only gonna get worse.
If it has a premium sound system some of them have a small amplifier for the over all system and the rear out put may have lost signal out put power. If it does not have an amplifier then I would replace the head unit(deck)with a brand that you like so you have total control, and no that does not sound right.Hope this helps
Sometimes leaves or debris collect inside the blower motor case Also if the vehicle has alot of miles and the noise changes tones when changing blower motor speeds the motor may be failing or in need of lubrication. First i would check and clean the blower motor case of debris or leaves. This requires removing nthe blower motor and looking in the housing. Good Luck and I Hope this was very helpful.
The problem is caused by the electric motor that operates the power lock in that door, this motor is inside the door and will need to be replaced to correct the noise issue..
If your car has the xenon headlights, it might be a faulty xenon ballast/regulator module. You car has daytime running lights so they are on at a low power setting all the time.
