Instructions to replqce driver side wiper motor 2005 cavalier

Wiper motor or wiper blade or arm ? There is one wiper motor for both windshield wipers . You would need to take both wiper arms off an remove the plastic cowling under wiper arms . The motor is under there . Plastic push pins hold the cowling . Open the hood after removing the wiper arms . Plastic caps on the wiper arms come off , 1/2 or 13mm nut has to be removed . Then rock the arms back an fourth till they come off . There may be a video on youtube showing how . Check it out .

Change windshield wiper switch on 95 cherokee

First are you sure that the motor is bad? Did you check the fuse, 4.8 amp circuit breaker(this goes out alot causing the wipers not to work.It is in position 15 on you fuse box), switch. If all of those are good then it is time to change the wiper motor. You will need a Phillips head screwdriver, a flat head screwdriver, a rachet and I believe a 7/16 socket. First thing you need to do is remove the wiper arms, to do this simply lift the blade away from the window. On the bottom of the wiper arm where it connects you should see a little slide with the arm pulled back use the flat head screwdriver and slide the slide over to hold up the arm. now go ahead and remove the wiper arm. Once you have removed the wiper arms not it is time to remove the trim (the trim is the vent looking piece under the wiper arms)over the wiper motor. To do this you will need you Phillips head and remove I believe 6 or head screws that are in the trim, be careful when you remove the trim as you washer hoses are attached to this. Now take you rachet and remove the 2 or 3 bolts holding the motor in, unplug the wires and remove it from the wiper track. To install just do everything in reverse
It also possible for your wiper switch or the wiper governor (module) to go bad. I would suggest you test the new motor by removing the plug and pluggin it into the new motor before taking anything apart. It might not be a bad motor.

The windshield wipe on the drivers side stoped working.

The locking nut holding the arm to the wiper assembly has come loose, look under the plastic cap at the bottom of the wiper arm. Or the connecting rod from the motor has come off. Hope this helps...

Wiper motor doesn't work. I need a good diagram and instructions to replace it.

You can go to autozone.com and register for a free account.
Then login to that account.
Choose vehicle year, make, and model
Then choose view repair manual

Loosen the nut on the wiper arm and remove it. Then take that big black plastic piece that is under the wipers on the bottom of the windshield and remove it.
Now you have access to the wiper motors and arms. Remove the nut that holds on the arm, then the two bolts that hold on the motor and remove it.

I pulled the wiper arm up to clean under it and now I cannot get the wiper arm to go back to the down position. I understand it's probably something simple.

first remove wiper arm again and ignition on then switch on wiper without arm, let it run few second and switch off wiper wait few second and switch off ignition, now it has come to the rest position so you have to install wiper arm at rest position. don't let it to move when you tight it hold it by hand, I think this information be help you if you think right way what i mean. is this information helped you?

Out under the wipers, you have a plastic cover across at the windshield and under the wipers. Plastic tabs hold it in place.

Passenger side windshield wiper quit working on my 2003 Hyundai Elantra?

It sounds like the arm or stud or both may have stripped out. If there is a cap on the bottom of the arm there may be a nut under it. Take a look the nut might just have to be tightned. If not then remove the arm and look carefully at the arm and stud. If these appear to be ok chances are the link under the cowl that connects the left wiper link to right wiper link has broken. Good luck!

Wont stay tight wiper arm

The wiper arm has teeth on it that hold it the spindle, those teeth wear out and let the wiper arm flop all over. You need a new wiper arm, if it is under warranty I'd take it in, if not changing awiper arm is easy. I've seen this on several kias, and also on other foriegn cars. It is just a bad design in my opinion.
