An engine built by mitsubishi during the DSM partnership between mitsu and chrysler. the 4g63 came in 2 variations, a turbocharged 195hp 1g or 215 2g engine for the upper DSM models, and a n/a 135hp engine for the 1g DSM's. it had 3 major designs: 89-92 had the strongest bottom end with the big rods capable of handling 400hp stock, even with high mileage. 92.5-94 had a 1g 7 bolt engine. not as strong as the 6 bolt, but still a stout engine. 95+ (2g) this engine is garbage IMO. 35% of these have been reported to crankwalk. they have thinner rods than the 1g 6 bolts, and the head and turbo are designed for mid range power, sacrificing top end power. it may put out 20 more horses stock over the 1g engine, but the 1g 14b can hold 300hp without running out of breath, unlike the measly 2g T25 that cant hold anything over 250hp. many people swap their 2g's for 1g 6 bolt engines to eliminate the worry of crank-walk. click this link below and check out page number 21 to get torque specifications http://www.scribd.com/doc/4570538/Mitsubishi-4G63-4G64-Engine in the link its mentioned for 1993 model and yours is 1996 but that will not make difference you can continue. Thanks.

I am looking for the torque setting for mazda b3 4 cylinder 1.3 (mains, big-ends, , cylinder head and flywheel) please

Buy the manual. You are saving money(lots) by doing it your self. I don't have your car on alldata. I would pass it on. Other wise, I wouldn't trust anyone's advise advice on torque settings. They are all so different. Every car I work on, I buy the program from alldata.

Cly head torque settings

The torque is 44 ft lbs+ 95 degrees. You will have to replace all the head bolts/ one time use only. Working from the center out tighten all to 44 ft lbs. Then from center out again go anothre 95 degrees. Good Luck

Differential Torque settings for 2003 Town Car

New cylinder head bolts are required and an angle guage,or you can make one up with card and a set square. Head bolt torque is 25Nm(newton metres)+60degrees + 60deg + 60 deg so it's a four step process.Con.rod bolts(big-end)28Nm,Inlet manifold 28Nm,Exhaust manifold 25Nm, Crank pulley 40Nm,Sump 5Nm and use locking compound (loctite)Timing cover 6Nm. Valve clearance, set inlets to .006" and ehausts to .010"(set approx.when cold then re-adjust while warmed engine is idling.
