Question about Chrysler Town & Country
It is going into "limp" also called "limp-in" mode. It is a default mode the computer places the transmission goes into when it detects certain errors. In this mode you should also have a Service Engine Soon (or Check Engine) light illuminated on the instrument panel. This light tells you that the computer has logged an error code(s). Autozone will attach a code reader and pull the codes for you at no charge. Have this done and post the codes back here for further assistance.
