SOURCE: Air in cooling system 1989 Chevy Celebrity

If you have a V-6, there's a tube that runs along the front of the engine. It has a small nut on it. With the car turned off, take your radiator cap off, take the nut off the tube, start adding antifreeze to the radiator and when it all starts coming out in a stream, put the nut back on the tube. Then check your antifreeze level. Your done. Hope this is helpful. PHil

2001 Chevy Impala code P0118 what does this mean? I already changed the sensor and the thermostat. Still overheats

The coolant sensor is bad, change it out,and bleed the air out of the cooling system, the cooling fans should come on on there own,and go off on there own, this is with the ac off. When the cooling fans do this, then it is cooling down correctly. If this was helpful, please rate,by the way,the overheating is most likely from the cooling fans not coming on,this is the reason, thank you,and please rate.

2001 Chevy Impala

If you have done this already, then bleed the cooling system, this is all you lack, just get the air out of the system, two bleed ports, one on the thermostat housing, and one on the engine near the water pump, just bleed them out as the car warms up,the thermostat bleeder last,if this was at all helpful, please rate, thank you.

2003 chevy impala ls starts then stalls

I have replaced the radiator in my 2003 Chevrolet Impala LS. The car started running hot and shut down. Took it to a radiator shop and found a crack in the radiator. I have replaced 2 thermostats in the car already. I noticed water running from under my car today and it seems it was coming back out of the overflow. I am stumped as to what is going on with this car.
