Question about Cars & Trucks

If it is on the passenger side and only when a/c is on then you have a plugged drain tube on the evaporator housing. Locate the housing under the hood, passenger side - mounted on the firewall. This is the housing where the a/c lines enter the cab. On the bottom of this housing there will be a rubber tube that is to carry away the condensation from the evaporator core to the outside. (Ever see water dripping under the car on the passenger side when the a/c is running? This is from the drain tube.) Sometimes the tube is hard to see without raising the car in the air. Only do this if it can be done SAFELY. DO NOT get under the car with it only on a jack! Locate the drain tube and clear of any obstruction (usually mud).
