How many miles or time period between oil change is recommended for Acura 2006 MDX? Is synthetic oil recommended or required?

Depends on driving style. Dusty roads? Lot of stop and go? Lot of short trips under 5 miles? Then 3000 miles is a good interval. If it's all highway miles then you can stretch it to 5000 miles. Synthetic is always better because of it's resistance to breaking down and loosing it's lubrication abilities. Hope that helps. I'm not sure if it's required in that car.

How many miles you have to change oil in 2007 e

Depends on the type of oil, temperature, and whether short hops or highway, but in general one changes oil twice a year. With the better synthetics you could go a whole year.

My '97 Jetta 1.8L came without its "Service Manual" which is where VW apparently chooses to publish the maintenance schedule. When it was available from the dealer, it cost $4.95, so it can't be big. Do...

I don't know where you can find one I searched but could not find one. Oil changes ever 3000 miles. Spark plugs and air filters every 30,000 miles, Timing belt every 100,000 miles. Serpentine belt check for crackes on the groved side at every oil change, if any sign of wear change. Top off all fluids when oil changes are done.

At what mileage do you change a timing belt in a 2007 sonata, 99% of mileage is highway.

Most car manufacturers recommend replacing timing belts after 60,000 miles. I have seen cars go 200,000 on a timing belt. But I wouldn't recommend that. Personally, that Max I would go, even if 99% of your driving is highway, is 80,000 miles. I'm not 100% sure about the sonata, but if it is front wheel drive and your replacing the timing belt, think about replacing the water pump at the same time. That is always good practice to remember.

How often do I change the oil in my new Lincoln MKX ...every 2000 km or every 5000 km?

The owner's manual calls for changing oil and filter every 7500 miles in normal service, or if driving in dusty conditions, offroad, or lots of low speed and idling (a taxi or maybe an unlucky commuter), go to the extreme service intervals of 5000 miles. Changing oil every 3000 miles is definitely NOT required.

Quick Question on MINI break-in period bmw

When I picked up my car. the very next day I went on a 800+ mile trip. During the trip, I made a mental note to vary my speeds between 50 and 90 and do frequent gear changes to keep the RPMs moving around... did my best to simulate city driving.

The oil change intervals are based upon your driving conditions. depending on which oil they use, it should be fine. My oil was drained in my car at 11k miles and it turned out to be in good condition.
