Either it is a "transmission issue or a misfire issue." Those are the two leading causes of a car to be driving fine and then Buck and Hesitate out of nowhere.

It could be one of the following ,1 :check fuel pressure while driving and see if it drops off (specs are 30-40psi )at idle while drop slightly on acceleration.also if this bucking occurs after driving for a period of time the ignition pick up module maybe faulty . If you could supply additional info I might be able to pinpoint it a little better

Car bucks alittle when it reaches normal temp

The vehicle may be over fueling or not getting enough fuel at idle . Could be caused by a sensor in the engine reading improperly, spark plugs with excessive gap or a vacum leak. Chances are this vehicle has a check engine light on that would give you a better indication of what sysem is being affected causing the problem.

95 grand am bucks, but sometimes doesn't. It will start if i'm driving, let up on gas pedal, then press down to speed up, it bucks, let off the gas it stops, press again it bucks. will stop then come...

Alot of things can cause this, even a spark plug. but I would be looking at maybe a coil or ignition module issue or a weak fuel pump that is on its way out. Or maybe even a throttle position sensor. Noone can say forsure without driving it themselves and testing based on what they felt.

If its time for a tuneup I would do the plugs and wires., If you dont suspect the tuneup as being the problem I would replace the ignition module that is located in the cover that is on top of the engine covering the sparkplugs. Its a easy job. Its attached to the under side of the cover. I have seen this type of symptom several times with this car and the module is usually the culprit when everything else checks out ok.

sounds like it is in the throttle sensor or idle control valve causing problem not responding fast enough to take over also try the fuel filter could be clogged.

Hit the gas and get a bucking, bucking and more bucking.

There's alot that can cause this problem. Check battery cables and clean. Drive to autoparts place for free diagnostic. It could be a throttle position sensor, EGR valve, bad gas, bad coil, bad plug wires. Just to name a few. Hopefully the diagnostic test will pinpoint it.
