Question about Dodge Ram 2500
Door Lock Motors Each door contains a door lock motor (an electric actuator) that locks and unlocks door. Door lock motor assembly contains a door unlock detection switch and a door open detection switch.
POWER DOOR LOCKS All doors can be locked and unlocked from either front door using control switch or door key. When you unlock driver's door with door key, if you turn key once, only driver's door will unlock. If you turn key twice within 3 seconds, all doors will unlock.
The door switch and the motor needs to be checked.Either the motor is got blocked so only functioning for one side or the switch is got short. The other are working so only the motor and switch for main driver door needs to be checked. Both are located in the driver door panel.
Other possibilities to check are:--
Pull the door panel off and check the connecting rod. They're simply held on by a plastic clip that may have broken. It's not common but possible. pull the panel and check the linkages . Remove your door panel take off the covering watch the lock rod attached to the latch see if it is clicking or even moving
