Question about 2002 Land Rover Freelander
Posted by Anonymous on
I have the same problem and am convinced there is a connector (apart from the ones that plug into the radio) behind the dashboard which has come undone. I can't confirm there is a connector and am reluctant to strip out the center consul and dash until I'm sure there is a connector there. Can anyone confirm there is a connector further down in the loom?
One thing that worries me though is that all drawings I can find show that the tweeter & large speaker are connected in parallel, if this is the case then it cannot be a connector behind the dash as the tweeters would not work. It would mean that both large speakers are burnt out, surely not! Can anyone confirm that the drawings are correct?

Either the wire is severed to the door speakers, or the radio has bad amps inside.
