Question about Chevrolet Silverado 1500
Hi you will need the key re-coded to the ignition on your vehicle, if i recall on the actual ignition where you put the key, behind the steering cowling there should have been a round thing that looks like a coiled wire, this should be the pick up for the security system just see if you have put that back in where it should be and then you should be good to go, i will just say that some models may have a different system but as you have not put the year on i can only suggest this, also just a note, these things are very delicate and needs to be handled with care as the wires are very thin and brake easy...hope this helps
