Question about 1997 Dodge Grand Caravan
I had friends van do the same thing we spent hours looking for the problem,it turned out to be a lose ground wire inside on the fire wall where the wires come thru the fire wall and lose wires at that connection also, check all connections to make sure they are tight..

Fuse for the instrument panel is possibly blown. Check your owners manual for the proper location of the fuse. If you do not have a manual they are available online in PDF version.

IF YOU REMOVE INSTRUMENT CLUSTER AND UNPLUG IT,PLUG IT BACK IN AND UNPLUG IT AGAIN..DO THIS A FEW TIMES..IT SHOULD CLEAN OFF SLIGHT OXIDATION ON CONNECTOR TERMINALS..HAVE SEEN THIS BEFORE..I ALSO THINK REPAIR CONNECTORS AVAILABLE FROM DEALER

Unfortunately I believe this can not be done because the sensor for idiot lights are different from the sensors for gauges. I don't know this for an absolute fact but in most instances this is true.
