What can this issue be? Pls I charged the battery for over two hours and it still won't start even if I have jumpers attached?

Gary, Do you mean car will not start, or do you mean it will not turn over. If it does not turn over, even with boost, battery cables bad, starter relay or fuse bad, or starter defective.

The top radiator hose collapsed and made a popping noise. now the car will not even turn over, the battery is dead, but even when i try to boost it off, it will not turn over. why will it not start?

Usually when the upper hose fails the engine has overheated.
If the engine will not crank it may be locked up. If it cranks but won't start it could have lost compression in the cylinders.

I need some help why would a car not start after giving someone a boost off

Well, there could be several. It sounds like you used your car to boost another, and now your car won't start? Could you provide a bit more info, such as: does your starter turn over, is there no electrical power to the starter at all, is there any other oddity occuring as well (ie: erratic dash light behaviour, engine diagnostic lights on, etc), and did anything out of the ordinary occur when you boosted the other car? If you have no power, there is a possibility that the boost may have created a power surge and blown one or more fuses. Check your fusebox, and there may be more than one of those. (under the hood, and/or under the dash) Replace any blown fuses. Then there is even the possibility that boosting the other vehicle might have weakened your battery just enough to fail to turn your engine over.

If your starter turns over but engine doesn't fire, then there is a possibility of an ignition problem or a fuel problem. I would suspect the electrical first. Check for any relays, and inspect all obvious ignition wires and circuits in case something came loose or was some how short circuited. Doing a few google searches for your make/model/year of vehicle along with a couple words about your problem may reveal further useful info.

Please provide further info about your problem so others on this site will be able to offer suggestions. :-)

My truck has sat for awhile but it boosted off just fine. I t ran for about 10-15 min then died. I tried to start it again nothing happened. I tried to boost it off nothing not even a click. I had lights...

the battery is totally to the point that not enough amps are being received from it,, so a jump won't even help, charge it completely ,, the lights and other items on the car require small amperage and 12 volts,, the starter requires a bunch of amps to turn it over, after you do that ,, check the alternator you can use a meter on the battery posts with the car running, and should have a reading of 13.5 to 14.5 volts

Just shut off the care returned 2 hours later no go got a boost went for a drive left the car running for awhile than it start to get like it was going to stall went on g=for a littlwe while than died....

Hi your problem sounds like the battery is gone and won`t take a charge. When your engine is running the alternator is supplying the electrical power to run the car ( and normally charging the
battery as well )
Even though it seems strange for the battery to go suddenly, it does happen.
How old is the bat. Most last about 5 years with normal driving ( batterys last longer if the car is used every day )
Anyway i hope i have been of some help to you.

2001 viper, battery dead, doors locked, can i boost the battery from engine compartment, i can not even boost unless i get the door unlocked. thanks for your help.

You have a keyhole under the mirror! It will be very difficult to turn like you're gonna break the key. You can make it easier to turn if you push in on the door while you're turning the key. Good Luck!
