Question about 1988 Mitsubishi Mighty Max
Where does the transmission get drained on a mitsubishi 1988 pickup truck, i think i let the wrong fluid out im trying to figure out what fluid i let out?
The transmission is bolted to the engine and if you drained fluid from a single drain plug, you probably drained the engine oil out, especially if it was black.
The transmission fluid, if Dexron II or equivalent, is red in color.
Check the fluid level of your engine to see if you drained the engine oil by mistake.
Usually, transmissions have several everal bolts that hold the drain pan and filter on.
Good luck, to you.
