The engine turns over but as soon as I take the yellow wire away, it dies.

  • darylshyguy Jul 06, 2010

It appears that you are right about the yellow wire being the starter wire. I will go ahead and connect all the wires and see what happens.

Can you tell me where the horn button is? I need to locate it because I am going to try to replace the ignition assembly.

I am trying to remove the steering wheel on my 94 plymouth voyager and I have the center nut off but I can't go any further. Do you have any suggestions? The chilton book said that I need a steering wheel puller and I can't figure out what this does.

all the others have to stay together, use a pair of vise-grips to hold them together

connect all wires together and establish which one is the starter by trial and error. disconnect the one for the starter only

Changed water pump now 1998more plymouth grand voyager wont start

Check all your wires you removed. Obviously something is not connected. Check your ground wires first. When you have determined you have a good ground then check for power to the starter. If it cranks but won't start then you have disconnected something to the fuel or ignition system. If it ran before you changed the water pump then you have missed a connection somewhere.

Radio manuel for "94 Plymouth Voyager

Try "google images" and see if you can find picture of face on your radio, that may help jog memory. Unless you have model or at least name on front, and anything else it says.
