SOURCE: 1997 dodge avenger turn signal probs and location

replace the turn signal switch it self, mine did the same thing with the left turn signal, put in fuse and it will continue to flash... went to junk yard pulled one out of a 97 avenger just like mine, swapped them out and now it works fine. looked to be like some corrosion... to repace: 3 screws under columb, 2 screws on side of signal switch (black plastic side). unplug and replace

SOURCE: Heater blower motor replacement -1997 Dodge Grand Caravan

Remove the cover plate on the passenger side of the heater box, 3-4 screws.
Unplug the motor assembly, remove 3-4 more screws that hold the motor in place and pull it down from its position. Get an aftermarket motor and installed it in the original housing with the original squirrel cage.
Installation is the reverse of removal.

SOURCE: 01 Dodge Grand Caravan dash lights go off with turn signal...

I had this problem right after I had my battery replaced. Not believing in coincidences, I took it to a friend who checked the battery and cables. Looking at the battery cables, there are small wires that attach to a thicker cable which go to the clamp that attaches to the battery terminal. The battery installer cleaned the corrosion off the clamp and the battery cable, but the connection between the small wires and the larger cable still had corrosion between them. My friend cleaned off this area, and the problem is gone.

2001 Dodge Grand Caravan intermittent turn signal problem, particularly when cold. sometimes don't work at all, other times try to use right signal and left comes on.

The most likely cause is the multifunction switch located on the steering colomn. Also involved in the turn signal operation is the BCM (body control module) and the IPC (intelligent power module). For the problem you are describing I would go with the multifunction switch as the most likely culprit.

Have no signal lights. Have replaced the switch (arm) once and again they aren't working. Not sure if its a fuse or a bad part.

I would check the fuse and the signal flasher fuse as well which should be a round ond if equiped with one. Hope this helps.

I think you need to replace the Body Control Module (BCM), My newly replaced BCM (used) fixed my wiper problem but created a new problem which the left turn signal is not working now. Time to sell the van.

Turn signals work intermittantly on 2005 Dodge GC SXT

It sounds like your multifunction switch is faulty and will need to be replaced. The multifunction switch is a combination of your signal and wiper/washer switches all in one unit and is not servicable and is replaced as a whole unit .

My left turn signal works sometimes, but not all the time.

Sounds like you have a short in the turn signal switch ( in the steering column). Depending on the different functions of this switch will determine the cost. If you have one that simply works the turn signals, then your looking at about $15. I believe yours should cost around $75 since it's a multifunction type. Installation time is about 20 minutes

No high beams, problem is not multifunction switch

Check the headlight switch to make sure that the connections or internal connections aren't corroded. This was a major problem for older fords, so it would be good to check it anyway.
