If there is a slot in the "fender hole", it unscrews with a big screwdriver If not, check for a slide clip under fender where it goes through.

I DO NOT THINK SO. IT HAS BEEN A LONG TIME SINCE I WAS UNDER THE HOOD OF A VETTE BUT I THINK YOU CAN DISCONECT IT FROM THE RAD AND SLIDE THE RAD OUT. (BE VERY CAREFUL YOU DO NOT CRIMP ANY CONDENSER LINES)

Yea leafs and other debris can get in and cause the noise. Remove the blower, thoroughly clean the fins and reinstall. This should take care of the noise.

if it just makes a nasty clicking grinding noise then you just might need the new plastic gear strip the goes up into the antena itself. these are available as a seperate part and not too expensive and easily replaced. take the motor out and take the mast out and see if there's broken teeth in the
take a look on ebay.
