If oil does not have anti freee mixed in with it that is good. lthough if the coolant keeps going down after you refill it every 100 miles or so you do need a head gasket

What kind of problem are you having with the truck? Things like spark plugs need replacement or fuel pump, clogged fuel filter willnot cause codes in most cases.

Smoke smells like fuel. took out spark plugs and then I turned key to spin the motor. it was spraying a lot fuel out

Looks like a blown head gasket. Take off the oil cap and/or dip stick and see if you have an anti-freeze/oil sludge mixture. If so, that's the problem. Could be the exhaust manifold gasket too.

I took my 2004 gmc envoy, 6 cylinder, in for new spark plugs and fuel filter. When i got it back the service engine light came on. I took it back and was told that it was a bad spark plug. I have taken...

I was having a similar problem with my 2002 Envoy. Usually when accelerating at 60 and 90km/h it would have almost like a clunk and idled rough.

I took it into the shop and they said a tune up would be the first step to correct the misfire (25 options to choose from!) After pulling the spark plugs the 5th and 6th didn't look right. As a result my mechanic ran a compression test.

The 6th cylinder is only putting out 80lbs of pressure where as the rest were putting out 195lbs (factory says it should be around 215lbs). His recomendation was new motor or new vehicle.

02 navigator misfire #7 cyl still after i changed plugs and coil

You've tried everything but getting the timing checked out. You've done all the other parts of a tune-up but that.

When you changed the spark plugs did you notice #7 was especially dirty or greasy, this could point to a seal being broken or a piston ring that needs replacing.

Hyundai Santa Fe 6 cyl and spark plug robbery?

On the 2.7 V6, you have to remove the surge tank from the intake manifold to gain access to the ignition wires and the spark plugs. 2hr job.

Low coolant light keeps coming on and its not keeping anti freeze

this is a common complaint, GM/Buick recommends you remove the sensor from the radiator side tank and replace it.

My 89 honda civic has been running rough

No it has not been overheating or losing coolant at all it just has been running rough and poorly (loud) it was not smoking till he took out the old spark plug and put in the new one he said it was smoking out all that had been backed up into the cylinder due to non working spark plugs (there was oil on the spark plug)

Tune up on cown and country (chrysler)

I just changed the rear spark plugs on my 1997 Chrysler Town & Country this weekend. It took me about 7 hours to do everything. When you replace the rear spark plugs, its a good item to replace everything i have listed below. Listed below are the items i changed while i was in there:

Valve Cover Gaskets
All 6 sparks (the rear are the hardest) I used the Bosch Plat. +4
Intake manifold gasket (only cost $3-4)
Throttle body gasket.
Air filter
Spark Plug Wires

I also bought some throttle body cleaner and sprayed the throttle body to clean it out. When the throttle body is dirty your van can stall.
I took pictures of everything i took apart, which i can email you to help you out.

Thank You,
Nip
