Motor started to caugh and "tug" after some hours driving, suddenly less respons on gas, finally motor stops; It starts again without problems after short rest; then after a while - again - first instruments: rev counter and temp. stop to function - than motor starts to tug and no respons on gas - again it stops - same procedure over and over again. What could this be???

Hi Marney:
If the "tug" is pulling the car sideways when you brake then you will be facing some maintenance or repairs.
If the tug happens when you press on the accelerator pedal, it is normal.
A bit more information about the specifics will help us try to assist you.
Cheers.
It can be a number of things including general maintenance items like gas filter, air filter and regular tune-up parts including spark plugs. Have you changed the oil regularly?
Other than these things it is hard to say without seeing the car first hand. Good luck!
Not sure on the Almera, but some vehicles need the light to be re-set with a scanner, it has stored the radiator fault in it's memory, trip to a garage I'm afraid.
hi i am not 100% sure but i think it is the P11 144 gearbox its used with the almera qg15de engine. i think it is also used in a primera and almera tino of the same years.
