Question about Jeep Cherokee
If the headrest it the type you have to push a button to raise or lower it try holding the button in while pulling or lifting up on the headrest,
if it is the type that you just pull up or push down with no button then try a quick ****, if that doesn't work, then you should look where the headrest attaches to the vehicles seat, you may need to remove screws in the plastic pieces that the headrest rods slide into. hope this helps.
