If you checked the bulbs and fuses then it's either a bad ground wire (located in the rear of the vehicle somewhere near the tail light wiring harness) or a bad backup light switch, located on the side of your transmission or possibly the gear shift itself, neither one of these should be too hard to fix

My reversing lights dont work on my seat leon

There is a switch that controls that when you put car in reverse. Backup lights are simple to trace. Use a miltimeter to check for voltage. Check all fuses. Most likely the problem is there. If not ir may be in steering columb.

Backup lights dont work

Check the fuse and the bulbs first, if all is good then i would look at the neutral saftey switch, this is what controls the back up lights when shifter is put into reverse

Parking and backup lights quit working.everything else works including instrument lights.checked fuses and parking light relay both are good. Can someone please come up with a suggestion.

Try checking out your light bulbs in parking and backup light locations. Sometimes when one bulb goes out or just comes loose, it stops the entire circuit from operating.

Backup lights dont work, changed bulbs, still no lights

if both lights have failed at once its probably a fuse, find your fuse box(usually located under the bonnet or behind a release panel by the driver on the underside of the dash where your legs are.) and check for a diagram showing which one is for the lights, or remove the fuses one at a time, checking for breakages, or blackened marks. if you find one take it to auto parts store/ and purchase appropriate fuse and reinstall, if its not the fuses check the wiring around the rear lights and in the boot area., you may have accidently disconnected the wire going to the backlights.

1994 Olds Cutlas Ciera Tail lights dont work. Turn signals and backup lights work. Bulbs and fuse is ok. What else should I check?

Check your wires to see if you have good ground, as well as power...Use a test light, or a probe light will be better... so you can check for both..power and ground, because if the circuit is not complete, then it wont work...Even though the fuses are good, and the bulbs are wont be no good if you don't have the electricity to work them
