99 chev suburban. My lights flicker when I drive. Sometimes when I hit a bump my radio resets and abs wheel sensor goes wild.

Sounds like you have a loose wire somewhere. Check the thick wire that leads from the battery to the starter and from the ground to the negative battery terminal.

Very rare occurrence you are describing.

96 chev suburban 4wheel drive no abs light. We removed engine for rebuild and reinstalled now we have abs light all the time codes say missing ft sensors and rr sensor why

The abs sensors are on each wheel. Check the electrical connection at each wheel. If they are connected, try unplugging each, spray with QD Electronic Cleaner, and reconnect.

I have a Chev Avio with a problem on the ABS system that comes and goes. The light is sometimes on and then you get the brake pedal to shudder.I can not pin point the problem but suspect a faulty sensor...

brakes will not fail... do you lose speedo when this happens. check the sensors make sure they are clear no muck in between the sensor and the sprocket on all 4 wheels if there is clean it out. then check again sometimes its just a bit of muck in the way and it just cannot read the sprocket... and the light will flicker on and off. then applying the brake it knows the wheel is moving.

Dash lights and radio lights sometimes work or flicker when hit a bump. Any ideas?

Might be a loose battery cable. Just a thought. did see other post where you stated that you've disconnected battery several times. Hope you find/found a solution.

Abs and traction light comes on in my 2001 grand am when I hit a bump

Scan the abs module for codes. It is likely there is an issue with either a speed sensor or a wiring harness to one FI the wheels. The codes should help identify which wheel is having the problem. You can then focus your attention to inpsecting the components on that wheel. Let me know if you have any questions and I'll do my best to answer them. Thank you for using!

Low traction light sometimes comes on.Weeks go by and it doesnot come on .Then all of a sudden low traction appears again

I have three 1997 Olds Cutlass's. They do it to! Nothing to worry about. They will do that in response to a bump, or washboard road driven over at a certain speed. The wheel speed sensor on each wheel tells the computer how fast each wheel is turning. If one wheel speed is faster than the other three, as when you hit a bump, the computer thinks it is loosing traction and flashes the light, and may or may not engage the ABS system to even up the speed on all four wheels.

Now if that light comes on, and STAYS on, that is another matter. It will only do that if a wheel speed sensor becomes faulty, and then the ABS light will override the traction light.

Drive on!!!

Our dome light on our 99 suburban stays on all the time. When we hit a bump it will flicker. We turn it off by presing the override switch.

Pull the bulb and check the connection, it could be loose or corroded.

2003 chev. silverado2500hd, abs goes off, pulsates when stopping

Gm has tech service bulitens on this issue.First the abs sensors can and should be removed, inspect the sensor mounting surface for rust (clean w/ sandpaper) insp the sensor (note the sensor may break w/ trying to remove so be gentlel) if all looks ok reassemble and test drive. if unwanted abs still persists both hub bearings should be replaced (call your dealer and ask if a special policy exsits for this condition) usually no abs code w/ be present Good luck Ray..

In my car the wheel on the light switch that controls the intensity brightness of the dashboard/interior lights is sometimes too close to being right next to the level of rotating the wheel so the lights are on continuously. I just rolled back the wheel a little and it corrects itself but if I drive a while hitting bumps etc. the wheel moves and I get the flickering of the inside lights. Outside headlights are OK though. I didn't know which lights you had the flicker.
