The ac fan motor in my 2011 Peterbilt only works on high......anyone else have this problem ?

I don't even have a 2011 Peterbuilt! ;)
But as in many vehicles when the blower only works in high its due to a bad blower resistor. The resistor is in operation on slower speeds and the motor gets full power and bypasses the resistor on the high speed setting.

As for where it is on a Peterbuilt, again I don't o0wn one so I can't say for sure.
It should be located near the blower motor as it uses the fan blades air to keep it cool.

Front a/c blower not working. where does the black and green 14 gauge wire go to. Unplugged got 12.4 v at maximum.

if you get 12.4 volts at the blower motor with the key on/engine off then you don't have a voltage problem. you most likely have a ground circuit problem, which the ground to the blower motor is provided by the blower motor resistor.

check the fuse, blower motor relay, and the blower resistor, the one i think is bad, i don't think is something wrong with your blower motor, good luck.

Blower fan is hitting something . Do I need to remove battery cable to work on this?

no you don`t need to disconnect the battery to work on the blower motor.just remove the motor and check the condition of the squirrel cage(not damaged) and check inside the air box for debris and clean out.make sure the noise is not the blower motor itself.

My blower will not come on i put a new switch in

If you know the fuse it good, and the blower motor itself is good, then the problem is the blower motor resistor pack is bad.

The blower does not work at all

Check for a blown fuse, and then check for power to the blower motor,if there is power to the motor, then replace the blower motor,if you bump the motor, will it start working? If so,this is definite that the motor is bad.If you don`t have power getting to the motor, check for a bad blower motor relay,or bad switch on the controls.

The blower works once in awhile, it kicks on when it feels like it

The blower motor is shorting out.Replacement is the only option. If the speeds don`t work, replace the blower resister also, next to the blower motor.I hope this was some help to you.
