Question about 2001 Toyota Avalon
I have a 2002 avalon 200,000 miles kept up all recommended maintance. Overheated bad smoke came thru the inside vent. No water left in radiator.any help big job?
Doesn't sound good. I think you might have cooked the engine. But just in case, get some coolant back in there of some kind, water just for the test, and see if you can get it running again, check the exhaust pipe for steam. The check the oil for water and the water for oil floating on the top. If you have any of these signs, the head gasket has blown out and needs to be fixed, You can get it to a radiator shop for a compression check, will tell you everything. Even how much to fix it. But only if it is not seized up. Then, you will need a new motor or a new car. Hope this helps.
