I have a 2004 LeSabre. on the upper lefthand corner of the radio there is a 'picture' of a key. Directly above the key is a very small light. I just noticed tonight that with everything turned off, doors all closed and windows up..the car secure in every observable way, that small light has been constantly flashing for at least 2 hours.. the period where I first noticed it. What the purpose of that light? I will really appreciate any help you can provide.

That is the light to let you know the glow plug heater is on. If that light comes on you should wait until the light goes out before starting the vehicle.
In the lower lefthand corner of your radio unit there are two small buttons, one is marked H (or HR) and the other M (or MN). These are pressed to change the Hours and Minutes of the clock display.
Remove the trim from around the outside of the radio. There are 4 small black screws that hold the radio in. Remove the 4 screws and the radio will unplug. The trim feels like you are going to break it, but it has spring loaded clips that hold it on. Just be sure that you pop one corner at a time out. And it shouldn't break. You have to be gental but firm.
Remove all of the temperature control knobs, including the A/C button (95-00 models).Using a small hook or a flat-head screwdriver, carefully pull the control panel straight out. It will pop out with a slight tug.
Remove two phillips head screws from behind temperature control panel.
Remove ashtray and remove the phillips head screw on upper right side.
Carefully remove center black dash molding. This can be easily done by grabbing the plastic between the vents and the temperature controls and pulling toward you and slightly down. It will pop out with a slight tug.
Follow steps 1-4 - once you get the black trim plate off, the stock radio is held in place by 4 nut/screws. - remove the nut/screws - pull the stock radio out - disconnect the harness - disconnect the antenna - disconnect any auxiliary input devices (i.e. cd changer) if you have them. When you go to put your new deck in, just follow these steps in reverse.
The turn signal flasher is above the emergency brake petal and about 6 inches above, hid by a wiring harness. It is in a clip so pull it out and leave the wire hang to replace the new flasher. If you locate the fuse box drop it down by releasing the two metal clips left and right , the flasher will be directly above the left side of the panel.
