Does it have spark. Sounds like the ignition module is bad. I hope you mean that you replaced the fuel pump, not removed it right?

Suzuki1999 grand vitara will not start

the fuel pump is only designed to run until it reaches a preset pressure. once it reaches that pressure it turns off. One way I know to check it without dropping the tank is to remove the fuel filter. Put the fuel line in a gas can so you don't get gas all over. turn the key on if the pump keeps pumping fuel then it's not the problem. at that point I would buy a new fuel filter because it may be clogged and the reason no fuel is getting to the engine and they are inexpensive and a good idea to keep changed anyway.

Car cranks but will not start. stars for 2-3 seconds. full pump is good. would it be the crank sensor? no codes

It sounds like you need a new fuel filter. It runs until the fuel runs out and the fuel filter is preventing the fuel pump from reaching the correct fuel pressure. If the fuel filter doesn't fix the problem, you might have a bad crankshaft or camshaft position sensor, but this would usually cause the vehicle to die once it has warmed up a bit (when the timing starts to advance).

Car has a hestitation after warm when accelerating then catches and runs smooth

It could be a partially clogged fuel filter or a weak fuel pump. If you don't know when the last time the fuel filter was changed that is probably the problem.

How to change petrol fuel filter on toyota hiace 2007

On 2007 Toyota Hiace the petrol fuel filter is integrated in the fuel pump assembly placed inside fuel tank. It's not possible to change the petrol fuel filter without remove the fuel pump out from the tank. The petrol fuel filter is for fuel pump life.

Chevy dump truck runs, but will only run when fuel filters are full. Fuel tank does not have a pump in it. Want help in understanding fuel system in the dump truck. Fuel filters are not refilling while...

Sounds like a bad fuel pump or a hole in the line somewhere in between sucking air. Don't understand if this is Carburated model and the fuel pump is on the motor - then replace it. Could be a bad spot inside the tank on the sending unit that where the hole is above the fill line or amount of fuel is below the hole and again, it's sucking air rather than fuel.
If is an electric fuel pump under the vehicle then check all the wiring to it, check the relay which may be weak or corrosion around the fuse.
If this is carburator with big nut on end of fuel line into the carb. from the fuel pump on the motor. - there is a filter inside this nut into the carb. - do not get this backwards and be careful of spring that comes out with it, and that you don't cross-thread this nut while assembling.
Not really enough info to go further.
Some fuel pumps are in front of rear wheel under vehicle if equipped with Throttle-Body, and or
If you have low oil, there is a low oil cutoff on my G20 Van (Shaggin' Wagon) You may want to check, short out or remove the wire to this temporarily to eliminate this.
Canada Rocks!
Good luck.

Where is the fuel filter on a 1994 toyota camery

Under the hood, on the drivers side, front side of strut tower, mounted on fenderwell in fuel line. Use caution as pressure is in the lines unless you bleed it off, or run the vehicle for a moment with the fuel pump disconnected to use up the fuel in the line.

I recommend that you fill the new filter with Fuel Injector Cleaner, about half way, this will give you an excellent injector and fuel system cleaning during the first minute or two of running. Can cause a minor sputter, car will run fine in a few moments once fuel flow is fully established and air is removed.

Where is fuel fiter location on my car for a 2002 lincoln towncar

The fuel filter on your vehicle is on the right hand side on the frame rail just in front of the rear wheel.Make sure and relieve the pressure before you loosen the filter or it will spray all over. You can do this by removing the fuel pump fuse and starting the vehicle and let it run til it dies.Turn the key off and remove the filter. You will still get some fuel but there will be no pressure.Don`t forget to reinstall the fuel pump fuse when your done.Good luck.

Will not stay running, once it gets warm runs like a dream .have changed several sensors and has made no change..fule pump filter tpr idel sensor and so on once you get the motor warm she runs fine ,,

The vehicle runs in what is called 'open loop' system when it is cold. The open loop system is a predefined set of parameters (including fuel/air mixture) embedded into the ECM to run the vehicle until the vehicle warms up and goes into closed loop system. Then the ECM works off the sensors.

You could have a failing ECM
