Look to your fuel filter, you may have sucked up trash from your gas tank with the new better pumping pump

Have a 90 Buick LeSabre that seems to kill fuel pumps every year for the last 4 years. It has been replaced each time at differing dealers and with new wiring harnesses. What could cause this?

How full do you keep your fuel tank ? If you repeatedly let the fuel level low ,this will cause premature failure ! Need's to stay around 1/2 tank or fuller , keeps fuel pump lubricated . So if you run your vehicle with a 1/4 tank or less all the time , this will cause fuel pump problems .Could have a resistance problem in the electrical circuit ! Does the connector at the pump look burnt when changed ?

It could be the fuel pump. Sometimes you can hear them engage, but they are not pushing enough fuel pressure to run the car. This can be checked.

Replaced ignition module now it won't run at all

After changing the ignition module, you may have broken the communication between all the components in the anti theft security system. This is common on GM antitheft systems. Are you getting gas and spark to the cylinders?

If you add gas to the throttle body, does it start?
If so, then you have a fuel pump delivery problem in this vehicle.

If it doesn't start, then you may have a spark problem at the spark plugs due to a coil pack going bad or a module (but you said you changed the module).

Also, is this a 1995 Buick LeSabre of a 1993 Buick Skylark (which it is listed under)? What engine size is this?

Where is the fuel pump located on a 1993 Buick LeSabre

The fuel pump is located inside the fuel tank, through the top. You must remove the fuel tank first, then you can unlock and pull the fuel pump out of the top. This is the case for pretty much any car or truck made past 1985 that has fuel injection.

97 BUICK LESABRE CAUGHT OF WILL DRIVING BUT STARTS BACK UP.

check crank sensor, and ecm. Both by just tapping on the sensor (wooden dowel works good) with the car running. Kinda hard to get at ,behind the front lower pully,be careful, taking the serp belt off helps .If the sensor is bad it will stumble or quit when you tap it . Same with the computer, should be able to get at it by tilting the glove box door down.

1993 Buick LeSabre surges and almost dies intermittently

Check fuel rail pressure.

Add fuel to beyond 1/2 tank.

A weak fuel pump do not like to ran low on gas.

When was the last gas filter and fuel pump change?

90-120,000 miles is the typical change out.

Fuel pump like to quit on a HOT day.

Test the pressure and see is it within specification.

Good luck
