06 chevy equinox transmission, put in drive, speedo says 5 to 10 mph but the truck does not move, put in park but truck still rolls, is it transfer case problem because if transmission is in gear, speedo...

You need to adjust the 4x4 shifter itself. That's your only problem. Moving the shifter isn't putting the transfer case into gear and speedo will move, whirring sound is just the bearings spinning. Re-set the 4x4 shifter linkage to proper specs.

ABS Problem in my 2000 Jimmy 4x4

the best way to diagnose this problem would be with a scan tool while driving and watching the speed sensors, or check all your wheel tone rings make sure there are no cracks and they are clean, also have the computer scaned for abs codes there should be a code that may tell you which wheel speed sensor is acting up,you can also check the wiring, these seem to chaf the wiring by the control arm .a bad wheel bearing may also cause this problem, i would start with a scan of the abs system, good luck.

ABS Light and Parking brake light on

sounds like your vehicle speed sensor is going out. it's the modern equivilent of a speedometer cable. it tells the computer how fast your going which the computer uses to determine shift points, abs function, and speedometer readings. they usually act up a bit before they go out. it confuses the computer. normally located in the extension housing at the rear of the transmission where the spedometer cable would be on an older vehicle

ABS/CHECK ADVTRAC/SKIDDING CAR LIGHTS GO ON

The abs sensors also control the traction control and 4 wheel drive actuators so if one of the sensors is faulty the traction control will be disabled and the drive system will be stuck in the mode set at time of failure be that 4x4 or 2wd
get the abs system repaired

ABS light comes on 97 Jimmy

The Airbag and ABS are separate systems and un-related, the speedo is related to the ABS light, I think if you run a self test on the system computer there will be a trouble code for the transmission speed sensor, the output of this sensor is used by the ABS and the speedometer. The airbag is most likely a defective rotating contact under the steering wheel, we techs call it a clock-spring contact because of it's shape, it allows the connection from the steering column to the airbag. CAUTION! If you want to change out this contact the steering wheel needs to be pulled, follow factory recommendations on dis-arming the airbag, it can be very dangerous if you don't.
